You may think our chiropractor has gone mad for even broaching the subject of activities to do after Christmas lunch. After all if you’re not one the few super organised people who have bought all their presents by now and have a military style plan of action in place to help them through the Christmas period then thinking about anything further away than Christmas day itself is not on your agenda.
However, we thought we’d give you some light relief from the stresses of Christmas and give you some ideas for trying something a bit different this Christmas. For most of us our post Christmas lunch activities probably include watching the TV and dropping off to sleep on the sofa!
Why not try something different this year and get outdoors and take a walk. Our chiropractor can’t stress enough the benefits of walking on your health and well being and he encourages everyone to stay more active in their daily lives.
It’s surprising how many enjoyable places there are to walk around Ealing. Of course we have Ealing Common on our doorsteps, however, there are a few more places you may want to consider. Ealing Council have put together health walks in Acton and Ealing. These include for example a walk around Pitshanger Park and Ealing Golf Course and a walk around Elthorne Park and Waterside. One of the great things about walking is that pretty much everyone can take part from the young to the more senior members of the family. Why not get all the family up out of the sofa and onto their feet this Christmas.
